This piece is especially meaningful in the journey of StudioZEPA: it was one of their first artworks under the shared name. Before this, Zesta and Page 33 painted individually, each developing their style and signature separately. On that day, through conversation with fellow artists from the Hengelo street art community, one asked: “Why don’t you call yourselves StudioZEPA?!” It seemed obvious in hindsight. The collaboration had naturally matured, and adopting the name StudioZEPA marked a turning point — the birth of a unified identity for the duo.

What makes this piece important for the mural artists? It was one of the first artworks created as Studio Zepa. It was on this day through conversation other artists literally said why don’t you call yourselves Studio ZEPA?! This was because for the first twenty years of painting, the artists identified individually. Studio Zepa is a duo consisting of and , and so this apparently seemed obvious to the people around them,

For StudioZEPA, the work represents more than just creating beautiful street art painting. It’s a symbol of coming together, of formalizing years of collaboration and shared vision. Under the banner of StudioZEPA, Zesta and Page 33 combine their individual strengths.

Zesta’s background in graffiti, character work, and realism, and Page 33’s fine-arts training, fashion, and musical influences — to create murals that resonate across Hengelo’s walls and beyond.

Verrev Art’s involvement ties this into the larger street-art movement in Hengelo. Verrev has been instrumental in supporting public art initiatives in the city — not only murals on walls but also creative community engagement, street art routes, and large scale outdoor works that bring color, identity, and culture to public spaces.

This painting, then, is part of what makes the Hengelo street art scene more visible, more connected, and more inspiring.
